We are going to have a Network Upgrade starting at 5 May 2015 (Tuesday) HKT 17:00, upgrade is expected to take 5 hours. It is estimated that network interruption may occur about several times during the upgrade.
The biggest change will be the IP address, which is changing to a new one. DNS changes will need to occur for your site to continue to be available on the internet.
If you host your DNS with us (if your domain name servers are ns1.powersx.com and ns2.powersx.com) this change will be automatic.
If your DNS is hosted externally, the changes will have to be made by you. If you host your DNS, please contact us so that we can arrange for the move independently of the other sites, since DNS will need to be updated at the same time the site is moved.
If you have any questions about this action, make sure to contact us. The best way is via our support form.

ec2Biz.com wishes to inform you that on 08th of June 2005 we will upgrade the Linux kernel on Server#1 and #2 from version 2.4 to version 2.6. The upgrade will result in improved server performance and reliability, because Linux kernel v. 2.6 is faster and more stable than Linux kernel v. 2.4. Due to the scheduled upgrade, there can be brief interruptions in the availability of the service in the interval between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM.

Dear Valued Customers,
At approximately 16:30 today an Internet worm began causing large portions of the entire backbone to slow down or become unreachable. No ec2biz.com servers were infected by the worm, however access to websites and email was affected for approximately two hours during the height of the attack. Network administrators world-wide have begun taking measures to halt the spread of the worm but Internet access may be slower than normal for the next few days.
